NABARD will provide grants to construct Rural Haat through NGO.  NABARD will monitor the total process and provides technical inputs to the Gram Panchayaths as well as NGO.

The organization takes the responsibility of construction of infrastructure, creates awareness among community SHG members and Grampanchat about monitoring and maintainance, helps for capacity building, establishes market linkages etc. For that tto improve the capacities ECO-CLUB will organize trainings to the market committees, members of Grampanchayat and other stake holders.

According to the guidelines of Rural Haat we are selected Thangellapally village, Kondurgu mandal of Mahabubnagar district for this programme.


As per project guidelines we are completed the constructed of Rural Haat and maintained the systematically.

This is very useful to local farmers as well as consumers are buying and selling the vegetables in good and Hygienic condition at all the seasons.  This is the first village in the district of this project supported by the NABARD, Hyderabad.


  • Traders will implement the project in the backward areas for the benefit of the poorest of the poor people who are not arrive of the tricks of the trade and continuously lost on account of cheating.


  • The project will be implemented by one of the organization of the district working with complete dedication in the village area for the past 16 years


  • The project will empower the SHG producers, bring unity among them, facilitate community trading, producers will interact directly with traders, share the benefits by themselves etc. GP will also play a very vital role in the sustenance of the project.


  • The project will provide first of its kind all weather proof infrastructure which protects from Sun, Cold and high rainfall. It facilitates for storage and prevents damages.


  • Facilities for toilers and drinking water will help women & children providing comfort.


  • Due to the saving on damages and direct market interventions each member will earn handsome additional income from the Haat.
